1)  Make sure that you hire the right crew: don’t just settle for any old group of fools for moving your most coveted and precious life possessions!  These people are going to be in charge of moving your delicate furniture and all your dear belongings, so make sure that the people working on your move are trained professionals.

2)  Create a list of items: even before your removalists show up at your home, be sure to put together a list of as many items in your house as possible, listed under the room in which they are located.  If you can’t get everything on there, then make sure that at least the important items make the list.
